We humans are all so very different,
but what we do share is that we all come from a unique personal lineage,
we all have a cultural heritage that extends back to the limits of
our collective memory.

My philosophy

Three generations from my paternal line.
Benito Juárez,
the first Indigenous president of México, said:
“Peace is achieved by respecting the rights of others.”
That is to say, when we recognize and respect the rights of others, we also affirm our own, and peace naturally follows.
Vision
There is a future where people respect one another’s personal sovereignty, recognizing that everyone can grow, work, love, eat, and lead a spiritual life as they see fit.
In this future, we see cultural differences not as barriers that keep us from understanding one another, but as a valuable tool that opens our minds, allowing us to think about the big picture,
and work toward a positive future.

We can start realizing this future by simply talking to one another
and listen.
Listen doesn't always mean agree,
listen just means listen.

About me
I was named Zefferin
after my abuelo, Zeferino.
I am a Mexican American multimedia producer, designer, and illustrator from San Diego, California.
I have had the privilege of working in the fields of natural resources management, advocacy, and public health on both sides of the US/México border, experiences that have led me to use media work to foster mutual understanding.
I believe in a world where multiculturalism means we celebrate our own heritage while we also honor and celebrate those around us. When mutual respect and understanding are activated, diverse perspectives broaden our collective vision and strengthen our resilience as a society.
Let's work together! Feel free to send me a message below or email me:
